My mandolins are intended to be played. The sound quality and playability are equal to, or better than mandolins costing twice as much or more. If you try to find imperfections in the finish here and there, you will. The pictures tell the story, but if you are a perfectionist or are looking for a showpiece for display, you would be better off looking elsewhere.
